Had Me Worried at First, But It Redeemed Itself
When I first opened this oil dispenser, I was a little disenchanted. There was moisture inside the jar and even in the spray straw, which immediately made me pause. Thankfully, there was no weird chemical smell or residue, and after a few sprays, everything cleared out just fine.At first, the dispenser tab felt a little dinky, and I was genuinely worried it might snap after a few presses. Somehow, once the oil started running through it, it firmed up and now feels much more solid and how it probably should have felt from the start.I’ll admit part of my initial frustration was user error on my end. I was assembling it in low lighting and didn’t realize the straw had a small filter net on the end. I tried to attach it directly to the spray nozzle and ended up damaging that net. To be fair, it’s clearly designed to keep particles out, which would be important if you’re using flavored oils. At the time I wasn’t planning to… although now that I think about it, tossing a few garlic cloves in there sounds tempting. Either way, the damaged netting hasn’t caused any issues so far.The dispenser itself reminds me of one of those old-school diner syrup dispensers, which I kind of love. The spray is a nice, even mist, making it perfect for salads without ending up with random globs of olive oil. It’s also great for lightly coating frying pans and other cooking tasks.Bonus: my daughter got excited when she saw it and informed me that one of her friends has one too. So apparently I accidentally did something “cool” or “on trend,” which doesn’t happen often and deserves to be acknowledged.Overall, rocky start, solid finish. It does what it’s supposed to do, and now that it’s broken in (and partially broken by me), I’m actually really happy with it.

One of at least a dozen clone oil sprayer
This is about one of at least a dozen other brands that sell this generic oil sprayer. The one I have happens to be the clear bottle, but they also come in a tinted glass for oils like avocado and olive. It came packed well, and secure within its own gift-able box. Strapper foam at the top and bottle to hold it securely and almost no rattle. I gave it a shake, but the loose dip straw inside rattles inside, and nothing was broken. It also contains a paper washer to help seal the lid between the container. The loose dip straw end also has a fine mesh filter in case there's stuffness in your oil. I don't recommend cooking with used oil, but it's a good safety measure in case you're using fresh, home-pressed olive oil.I highly recommend giving it a wash and letting it dry before filling. It can be filled nearly to the top, and there are two main ways to use this. There is a press-down trigger over the handle and a switch at the top of the device. For switching the handle, it's probably the main way most people will use this. It sprays the oil on a finer mist that comes out the front. Using the sprayer, I took some test sprays with water. It sprays out more in a horizontal line pattern. I also took these test sprays at about 12 inches from the surface. The switch on top, it operates another cover over a free form pour spout.Overall for value, I would look up oil sprayers. There's over a dozen or two dozen different venders selling this. I would get whichever one is on sale or cheapest.

Doesn't drip or get messy
This is a review for: JACCOOTHALIA 16oz/470ml Oil Sprayer for Cooking, 2 in 1 Oil Dispenser for Kitchen, Olive Oil Sprayer, Food Grade Glass Bottle for Kitchen Gadgets, Air Fryer Accessories, Salad, BBQ (Black)I got this to replace a different oil sprayer that I had bought years ago at the dollar store and is very leaky. When it first arrived, I wanted to wash it before using it, and I accidentally detached a very fine screen at the bottom of the sprayer hose, so I was worried that it wouldn't work properly, but it seems to work fine. The bottle is glass and has a large capacity, so I won't have to fill it up very often. It's very easy to use. You twist the top off and on to fill it. The sprayer is operated by a trigger, so your hand is far away from where the oil is coming out, which is nice. There is a small switch on top that opens the spout cover. The design of the spout is such that it doesn't drip oil, so the bottle doesn't get oil all over the outside. I was honestly impressed with how well that worked. The whole top section is made of plastic, so I do wonder about it's durability over time, but for less than $10, I'll be happy and repurchase it as long as I get at least a couple of years out of it, which I imagine that I will.Overall, I think this is a really great oil sprayer/drizzler. It's a great value at about $10, and I definitely recommend it.

A kitchen must-have!
I wanted this oil sprayer because I was tired of either pouring too much oil or making a greasy mess when all I really wanted was a nice, even mist for cooking and salads. This one has been a little kitchen joy ever since it showed up! The glass bottle feels nicely made and has a reassuring weight to it, like something that belongs on the counter instead of hidden in a cabinet. Nothing about it feels flimsy and the black top gives it a clean, modern look that somehow makes cooking feel a bit more put together. The 16oz size is just right. It holds enough oil that I am not constantly refilling it, but it still fits comfortably in my hand and does not feel bulky. I also like being able to see exactly how much oil is left through the glass, which sounds small but is weirdly satisfying. The sprayer itself works smoothly and gives a fine, even spray instead of random splatters, and the pour option is great when you want a little more control. It has been especially handy for the air fryer and quick pan sprays without wasting oil. After regular use, it is still working just as well as day one and cleans easily, which I appreciate more than I thought I would. It feels thoughtfully designed, practical, and just pleasant to use, like one of those simple kitchen tools that quietly makes everyday cooking a little nicer.
