This is a beautiful and classy set of silverware, large spoon, wide knife spreads butter or cream cheese easy, heavy thick feels real good. Need wipe after wash so it will not stain. I got set for 8 people and am happy with my purchase
My, my, my--this was a lovely set! I really loved the overall look. However, the dealbreaker for me was the size. I've posted a picture comparing the large fork and spoon to a standard set, and they were just a bit too big and heavy. The spoon, in particular, felt more like a serving spoon rather than a standard large spoon in a flatware set. Additionally, the edges near the handle weren't smoothed out enough--I could feel slight roughness where the metal wasn't fully finished. While I did like the smaller fork and spoon, it wasn't enough to keep the set. Beautiful design, but ultimately not the right fit for me.
I ordered the 20 piece set. The design is simple enough to fit any kitchen decor. The salad forks are rather small, but I don't mind since I like smaller utensils. In fact, I don't think any of these could be called "continental" sized, but that's not a problem for me. The stainless steel is a decent weight, and they fit nicely in the hand. I recommend them.
The quality and weight of this set is fantastic, but the sizes are not standard. The small spoons and forks are only slightly larger than toddler size, and the large ones are about 20% larger than any other silverware we've had. The butter knives are slightly serrated with a sharp point on the end, more like steak knives. It's an interesting set all together, but they still work well and are great quality. My kids 6 and under love the size of the smaller sets.
This set is made from quality materials which is not the norm in silverware anymore BUT the sizes are just weird.The dinner fork and spoon feel more like a serving utensils while the smaller sppon and fork are more like desert utensils vs a salad fork and a teaspoon spoon so its just weird.Would I Buy This? The sizing is bit typical. Some are oversized while others are undersized.They hold up in the wash.They’re balanced enough to comfortably hold.They are well finished with no rough edges and they look nice.
