SUPER STURDY AND MASHES VERY WELL!!!

I was searching for a tool I could use to quickly mash up my dog's supplements and treats, without a lot of mess, fuss, or expense. I found it in the Pwkauka 18/8 (304) Stainless Steel Mortar and Pestle Set!!!For starters, both the Stainless Bowl and Grinder are extremely Sturdy!! The grinder is easy to grip and rotate around in the bowl while you're smashing what's inside. Although the rubber Splash Guard keeps the contents inside the bowl and allows you to see what's inside, I do wish it was made of a heavier material. As much I aggressively rotate the grinder, I'm afraid the guard will start to warp, crack, or splinter where the hole is over time. But as for now, it's working just fine.The set looks great! The Quality is evident in the Heavy Weight and feel of the bowl and handle. The Size is fine for my needs, but it's NOT nearly as big as the product description pictures show!! Always go by the actual Dimensions given!Note: My pics show a mixture of hard and softer dog treats I started with, then after 1 minute of grinding, and then after 2 minutes of grinding. As a result of the mashing, much of the most finely ground mixture settled at the bottom of the bowl. I was also not trying to totally ground everything.To me, this item is a fantastic Value for the Money!!!

This item is heavy, both pieces. I use one alot for freeze dried garlic. I have a marble one at a vaca home and this one is far superior, crushes fast and easy cleans way better and the plastic cover holds the pestle in place while storing. Great product and will last forever

A very good product, I would buy it again

The included lid is a perfect addition because it keeps hard things like egg shells from flying out when decomposing them to fine power (I use them as an additive in home cooked dog food for Calcalicum).The weight of the Mortar and Pestle set is much heavier than expected and the rubber pad on the bottom is a huge plus that keeps it stable when using.I would buy it again because of the durability and dishwasher safe.
