This a great blender. Much better than the smaller blender I had before. I felt like it was a good price point and blended everything well.
At first I did not like the looks of this. The base is big. Now I have been using it, I can tell you it is the best blender I have ever had. Blends smoothies and shaved ice. It is very simple to use, just push one button for on and off. I cleans up nicely. I highly recommend it and would buy it again in a heart beat. Thanks. Bob
Just received my blender and tried it out on a few things. I am "pre diabetic"so I use unconventional flours in my cooking so I first tried brown rice in the mini and it made a nice fine grained flour in about a minute. It tore through ice and made a great smoothie. With 2 out of 2 it seems that it works great. I was surprised by it relatively light weight, I'm used to heavy motors like in my cuisinart. I hope it's as durable, that's why 4 instead of 5 stars.
I blended smoothies for my son and I and my H-Duka blender crushed the ice cubes and blended the fruit and vegetables perfectly. It's the quietest blender I've ever used. Even on high speed, I could use it in the middle of the night and not disturb anyone sleeping. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean. All the parts fit securely in place. I love the design, it's blending ability and the fact that the clean up is so simple. The price is an added bonus and I'm sipping an avocado smoothie made buy this wonderful appliance as I write this well deserved review.
This blender is the latest addition to my kitchen appliances and i am so pleased with the performance. This is a very powerful blender that can be used for smoothies, shakes, grinding spices, crushing nuts and everything thats needed in the kitchen. It crushes ice within seconds and also makes fresh nut butter and nut milk. I have tried crushing almond and cashew for milk and this grinds it super fine that there is nothing left after sieving.I really like that there is a small jar also along with the bigger one. A lot of times i need to make small quantity of salsa, dip, or make fresh ground spice mixes and smaller jar works perfect for that. The pulse mode is very useful while making salsa or when i need chunky pieces in my dip. The base is heavy and well made. The jars are made of thick plastic and look very durable. While cleaning the jars, i add some water and run it for few seconds and it takes off all the stuck on debris with ease. This also does not take a lot of counter space. I use the blender so frequently that i have a dedicated spot on the kitchen counter for this. This has definitely a very useful appliance in my kitchen.
