Packaged So Well - Will Not Break During Shipping
These two glass cups were packaged SO WELL; I don't think they could be packaged any better. They arrived in a tight box surrounded by custom styrofoam that completely surrounded the glasses so it's practically impossible to break in transit. Then that box was packaged inside ANOTHER box with paper surrounding it for cushioning. If you want to have these shipped to someone, they will get there without breaking. Just be careful with the straws - I almost threw the styrofoam away not noticing the straws were imbedded on the side of the styrofoam.The lids fit on tightly so if the cup falls over, your liquid should stay in the cup. The lids also have two ways to drink - you can use a straw that fits in the hole on the top, or you can flip the lever and use the sip hole to drink from. If you use the sip hole, you can also plug up the straw hole with the attached straw plug.I also like that the glass has a lip around the middle which makes it easy to pickup and hold. The bottom section is also narrower than the top section so it will fit in your car's cup holder.Cons: They aren't double insulated, so the glass is really cold to pick up when you have a cold beverage inside. I have other glasses that are double insulated, and the glass isn't cold when you pick it up. And it will have condensation on the bottom of the glass so you'll need a coaster to absorb the water.Also, the straw hole could be a smidge wider. It's almost the exact size of the straw so the straw is really tight when it's in place. But maybe that is a good thing so liquid won't spill out if the glass tips over.These would make a great gift for someone - and I can assure you that they won't break in transit because they are packaged so well.At the time I received these two glasses, they were priced at $19. So that's $9.50 per glass. I have seen these type of glasses cheaper on Amazon; but $9.50 per glass is still a good price. Sometimes the seller offers coupons, so keep checking back for a cheaper price. I'm super happy with these and highly recommend them.
