There's a decent size group of people like me who are tong snobs. There is one style/brand that's superior, and everything else seems disappointing. These tongs have a place, and will stay in my kitchen. The grip is gentle, it could pick up many fragile items better than the tongs I was mentioning. They are sturdy, have a nice weight and balance, and seem easy to clean.
