Nice Grinder
This grinder works very well and feels high-quality right out of the box. The walnut wood and aluminum design is solid, smooth, and comfortable to use. It grinds spices evenly and effortlessly, with great control over the consistency. It’s the perfect size for everyday use and looks great on the counter. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Heavy, Beautiful Spice Grinder with Magnetic Lid
This spice grinder is really beautiful—it will look aesthetic sitting on a kitchen countertop, and it can because it's sealed from dust when closed.I haven't tried grinding spices yet, but from the looks, it should handle them well. It has a storage compartment on top (maybe for ground spices?), a magnetically held lid for the grinding area, a fine screen below to catch larger bits, and a final catching compartment for the finest ground spices. Included is a tiny hand-held tool to help work stuff through the screen. Two small cons: On my unit, there was a minor flaw on the bottom of the copper portion—not functional, but noticeable on such an attractive piece. Also, after unscrewing/reassembling compartments, I found fine metal powder and one long copper-colored shaving (see my product pictures). Metal shavings aren't good in spices, so I plan to rub down the surfaces and threads to eliminate future issues. At this price, the sturdy construction and thoughtful design feel like good value. I’m giving this 4 stars—the shavings issue keeps it from 5, but it's well-made and easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Solid little metal grinder with smooth twist + handy screen & catcher
𝘼𝙨 𝙖 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙧, 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙗𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬I received the Dumbpec 2.5” manual spice grinder in the gold/silver color and it’s a nice, sturdy little grinder that feels well-made and heavier than I expected for the size. The metal body has a clean, modern look and the two-tone finish is pretty enough to leave out on the counter. What I like most is how it’s built in multiple layers, so it’s not just a basic grinder:• The top grinding section twists smoothly and grips well in your hand• There’s a mesh screen layer that helps separate finer particles• The bottom section acts like a catcher, so it keeps things contained and tidy• Mine also came with a tiny scraper tool, which is great for getting the last little bit out of the bottomIt works best with dried herbs and seasonings (not anything wet or sticky). Since it’s compact, it’s ideal for small batches—perfect if you just need enough for one meal and don’t want to drag out a bigger gadget.A couple small notes: because it’s metal and has multiple threaded pieces, I recommend brushing/wiping it out instead of rinsing everything under water unless the instructions specifically say it’s okay—keeping the threads clean will help it stay smooth.Overall, if you want a small, portable, sturdy manual grinder that looks nice and keeps everything neatly contained, this one is a solid choice.

Holds Up Well in Use
This grinder works well for its intended purpose. It’s best suited for cooks who like to use fresh products in their recipes. The material and design feels well-made and it performs as expected during regular use. It's about the size of an average hand. Use was straightforward, it's easy to hold, and there were no issues out of the box. Overall, it’s a practical option for everyday use. For the size of this grinder, I would say that the price is fair.

Okay for tea spices, doesn't grind fine, very course
If you are looking for a fine grinding this isn't it. It however does a good job in breaking it up in smaller pieces. I use it for grind cardamom to add to my tea, it broke apart the pods. And that helped the infusion in the tea, meaning I would need to use less pods next time. The piece do get stuck in the holes , so you have to get those out yourself. They do include a small plastic tool to assist with that. There is a compartment on top if you want to store or do bulk grinding. The grinder area is held close magnetically. It is not as easy to use as a electrical grinder that can give you fine powder depending on how much you run it. The holes on the blade is going to be the size of pieces it makes.

Good Build Quality, but Not Really a Spice Grinder
This grinder is well made and looks nice, with a solid aluminum alloy body and a compact, portable design that feels durable in hand. In use, however, it behaves like a basic grinder that works only with soft leaves, not with hard spices. While it grinds smoothly, it struggles with items like peppercorns, cloves, or other tough seasonings. The two-layer grinding design, which separates rough pieces in the upper section and finer powder in the bottom, may sound useful, but for kitchen use it doesn’t add much value—there’s usually no need to grind spices into two different fractions. Because of this, the design feels more suitable for soft herb or marijuana leaves than for actual spices.Overall, although the materials and finish are good, if you’re specifically looking for a spice grinder, this is not the best choice. It works, but only within limited use cases that don’t fully match typical kitchen needs.
