Nice little electric grinder!

I have shied away from buying one of these for several reasons, the primary one being that I do not want my expensive flower to be ground into a fine powder. I've passed up a few opportunities, but when I saw this one, I finally went for it. There was no reason I chose this over any other; I just got it because I was finally curious enough to see how it worked.Right out of the box, it had power; I plugged it into a USB-C cable anyway, and the first thing I noticed was that the light on the bottom of the grinder does not work. This isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but it speaks to the lower-end quality of the manufacturing process, materials used, and/or quality control. Something as simple as a very tiny little LED light should work.However, the unit functioned just fine. I loaded it up with a few flower nuggets and hit the grind button. My intention was to test it out, but it ground the contents within a matter of just about four or five seconds. I couldn't believe how fast it was. It didnt even give me time to test out the rocker switch function (which seems to work fine).I was very impressed by not just the instantaneous grind but the fact that it's a nice rough grind, perfect for packing into a bowl or for rolling. The grinder comes with several cleaning tools as well as a funnel-shaped cone loader, which is very useful.I'm a little concerned that the fact that the light doesnt work may or may not indicate that the grinder can't be recharged, but I have it plugged in for now. I'll unplug it and just run it now and then, empty or not, until it runs down, and then I can see if it's only the light that's broken or if it's a whole charging issue.But for now, it works super well. I have osteoarthritis, as well as a dealing with a number of chronic medical conditions including nerve damage and chronic pain, and so my consumption of marijuana is no longer merely recreational, and hasn't been for over a decade now. I found a large 4" hand-held grinder that is very heavy-duty and works well, but this is so, so much easier for when my pain levels are through the roof or my hands won't work quite right. Even something as simple as turning the lid on a large, handheld grinder can be too painful.That's no longer a problem at all with this device. It's now my grinder of choice. Even if this one winds up being a problem, I'll get another one. And after seeing how well it works for cannabis, I'll probably get another one anyway, just for culinary herbs. I grow and dry my own herbs, so it will come very much in handy.Nice gift for the smoker or kitchen wizard with an herb garden in your life!
