Unboxing and first impressions.

I tried out a two-gallon iced tea or cold drink pitcher. It’s a kitchentoolz two-gallon drink dispenser, and it comes with a glass container and a small chalk pen so you can label what’s inside. It also includes a few little chalk tags.One thing I always check on these is the spigot, and this one is steel. It looks good and rotates easily. The instructions show how to install it: remove the metal piece completely, place it through the metal washer and the soft plastic or silicone washer, then insert it through the hole on the pitcher. You do the same on the inside. I wasn’t sure where one extra piece was supposed to go, and since it wasn’t clear, I didn’t use it. After everything is in place, tightening it very firmly is important so it won’t leak.The only issue I ran into was with the lid. It felt like the lowest-quality part, and I had a hard time getting it to close correctly. I found that backing it off until I felt it set and then adjusting it gently worked best. It just takes a little patience and a light touch.Overall, I like the pitcher and think it works well for what it is.

Better directions

Leaked from the spout at first. Rearranged the spout attachments and it is working fine now. This item could use clearer instructions for putting the spout together. It was very confusing.
