My kids are obsessed
My kids were so excited when this showed up. It's wintertime in MN and having a bon fire with snow on the ground does not sound like a good time for mom and dad. The kids would love to have a bon fire as they always get smores. This solves the problem of it being wintertime. A few weeks ago, my daughter tried to make a marshmallow in the microwave so that she could have smores. That was a disaster. I am so happy that now we can have smores any time we want. This smore maker is super easy to use. The directions are clear so it's easy enough for my kids to use it with supervision. It's also really easy to clean. I just soak it in hot water for a few minutes and then just wipe it out. We couldn't be happier with this smore maker, because now the kids can have smores all year round.

As a gift or as a romantic evening activity, this s'more maker is a great deal.
Fondue or s'mores. Can't decide? No need. This little machine will do both. Valentine's day, anniversary or small party, this is a fun gadget to have on hand. Summer heat and craving s'mores, not a problem. The machine doesn't require a campfire to create those yummy treats that usually need one.Easy to use, just plug in and melt your chocolate/cheese for fondue or use the heated air blower to roast those marshmallows for s'mores. It comes with 4 skewers, the bowl for melting the chocolate/ cheese, the base for heating and an instruction booklet. Really nice. It is small so you can't like have a ton of people using it, but an intimate gathering of 3 or 4 people would be good for it to handle. It would make a lovely wedding shower gift as well and is a good value for the price.

Super cute, cozy, & a little scrappy!
This is such a cute little unit! It absolutely scratches the indoor s’mores itch. I love the concept and it does work well for melting chocolate and toasting marshmallows without turning my kitchen into a campfire situation. It heats up nicely, the detachable trays are handy, and it’s a fun thing to bring out for a cozy night or a low-key hang. If you’re here for the vibes and the melted chocolate, it delivers. It’s also easy to clean. That said, the parts do feel a bit dinky, so don’t expect the ritz. The cord is also on the shorter side, and I personally keep a watchful eye when it’s plugged in because the overall build feels a touch…sus. Nothing has gone wrong for me, but it doesn’t scream heirloom appliance either. Still, it’s charming, it works, and I’m happy to have it in my snack rotation. Would make a lovely little gift, and seems fair for the value. Recommended with mild supervision!

Persistent Burning Odor, Excessive Exterior Heat, and Electrical Pop on First Use
I ordered this small fondue and s’mores appliance and tested it for the first time today using the s’mores mode. I carefully followed the instructions. The removable parts were washed and fully dried prior to assembly, and the unit was assembled exactly as directed. Because we were making s’mores, we selected the s’mores setting (not fondue) and allowed the unit to preheat as instructed before roasting marshmallows. We used the product for around 10 minutes. The unit appeared to function as intended. We roasted approximately three marshmallows each, and the marshmallows toasted evenly. None of the marshmallows came into contact with the heating element, and no food debris fell inside the unit. When the unit was first turned on, there was a noticeable odor similar to what you might smell when a heater is used for the first time in a season. However, the smell persisted throughout the entire use period. At first, I assumed it might be normal “first use” heating odor and I thought that the smell had gone away. It was only when I stepped away briefly to the kitchen and returned to the dining room that I realized the entire living area smelled like burning plastic. At that point, we turned the unit off. About 10 to 15 seconds later, while the unit was switched off but still plugged in, there was a loud electrical-sounding POP sound that appeared to come from the area of the power switch. My partner believes he saw a small flash at the same time, though I personally only heard the pop. The sound was sudden and loud enough to startle us, especially because we both were still sitting relatively close to the product. We immediately unplugged the unit. After unplugging, we checked the cord, which did not feel hot. However, the plastic housing on the sides of the unit was extremely hot to the touch. It was hot enough that it was not possible to keep a finger on the surface without extreme discomfort for more than a second or two. The bottom of the unit was only mildly warm. The appliance had been placed on a heat-insulated protective mat, and the instructions did not indicate any requirement for bottom ventilation.A few minutes after the initial pop, we heard a single "TICK" sound from inside the unit. After that, there were no further noises. There is no visible external damage, melting, cracking, or distortion on the housing. While the appliance did successfully toast marshmallows during the brief use period, the persistent burning plastic odor, electrical popping sound, and excessive heat on the plastic housing make this unit feel unsafe to continue using. Because this occurred during the very first use and under normal operating conditions, I cannot recommend it.Given this experience, I am rating it one star.
