Small deep fryer
I like Ross but it can be messy. I mainly use this for desserts now but it’s very very small, maybe the size of an extra large coffee mug. It works well but you can’t put large quantities or items in this at all because it won’t fit or fry well. I do like the lifting basket aspect for sure. I bring this out every once in a a while due to the lack of functionality to cook many tons and the large greasy mess it makes but otherwise it works well if you look past the mess and size.

Multi-functional
While this is a great, well-designed fryer pot, we have found a unique use for it. We sometimes put it on the stove with cinnamon sticks and cloves and water and turn it on to boil and then simmer in order to make our house smell wonderful. The pot is a great size for doing this and the strainer holds whatever you want to put in it. Hoping it is OK to add this extra use idea in our review as others might not think of using it this way, but it is fully functional as a simmer pot as well as a fryer.

Good to have
This has been a game changer for me. We love french fries in my home but why buy a bag for 5 dollars when I could buy a couple potatoes and fry them up myself? They taste better and much fresher. This is easy to use and clean which is nice because I hate cooking and especially hate cleaning up the mess afterward, so the simpler the gadget the more I love it.
