The cutting board is great, very nice quality. But i find it funny that it says to not use sharp objects on the surface. Isn’t this a cutting board ?
Good build quality on the metal side i use more. I haven’t use the other side of the board
I'm a pretty dedicated bamboo cutting board user. Love them, but I don't love that they seem to hold on to odors and get beat up pretty quickly. Good ones aren't cheap either. This dual-sided cutting board is a kitchen win so far. Stainless steel side for meats, the wheat straw PP for fruits and veggies—perfect for avoiding cross-contamination. The built-in juice groove reduces mess, and the garlic grinder is a surprisingly useful thing that I didn't know I needed until now. It is noted in the product insert that the stainless steel side will get dinged up, I'm curious to see what it does to the sharpness of my knives. Additionally, the wheat straw side doesn't necessarily seem like it will hold up to thos same sharp knives, but that remains to be seen.The board is made from food-safe materials and super easy to clean, but not dishwasher safe. So far I'm liking it, but suspect that long-term durability will be the deciding factor as to if this is a giant win or not.
In the past I have purchased several cutting boards. But this is the best one yet. Love the double side. Easy to clean. Very satisfied with the purchase
My husband and I have been using the thin, flexible cutting sheets out of laziness because we have about a dozen of them. I finally got disgusted and threw them out. This was one of my replacements and it is such a step up. The metal side is nice for cutting meat. However, I noted that it is inset into the plastic shell and there is some concern that liquids could seep between two. The seal could be so tight that it doesn't go in there but I don't know. I may decide to cut meats on the other side or just not use it for meat that "seeps".Regardless, it is a very nice cutting board. I like the option of having 2 different surfaces to cut on. The handle is nice and the board is nice and large. I am very happy with this board.
I am really likeing this new trend in cutting boards. One side is stainless steel, and the other is made from wheat straw. I mainly use the steel side for meats, and it’s been great—super easy to clean, and it doesn’t stain or hold onto odors like some of my old boards. The wheat straw side is nice for fruits and veggies, though I do wonder how it’ll hold up over time, especially since it’s not as tough as some plastic boards I’ve used.What really surprised me was the built-in garlic grinder on the side. At first, I thought it was just a weird little feature, but it actually works really well and saves me time when prepping garlic. It’s also a plus that the board has a juice groove around the edges to catch any mess, making clean-up a breeze.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It’s a well-made, thoughtful design that’s easy to clean and feels durable. I’m curious to see how it holds up long-term, but so far, I, glad to have it in my kitchen. Highly recommend it!
