Great Product!

I grew up in MS and we have always cut our watermelons with a knife. This is a game changer for me. Instead of cutting the watermelon multiple times. I cut it one time right down in the middle and I take this gadget and slice the rest of the watermelon. This is awesome. This saves me a lot of time, and I can cut it up and put in the fridge to continue to eat later. This was a great value for the money, and it works very well.

Dangerous item in two counts: Cutting shaft breaks and the fork portion digs into your wrist

This is an amended review as of 8/17. Now the cutting metal shaft has come off and a piece of it is in a watermelon. Another viewer has mentioned the same issue. This is dangerous and yes, the manufacturer should refund the purchase cost. Previously, I had remarked the following: The fork portion of this tool needs a cover to protect you when using the cutting portion. The fork portion starts to dig into one's wrist when you start cutting with the blade. I gave one of these to a friend and she was able to bend off the fork because it annoyed her. I, however, found a small protector that one uses on pan handles when cooking and I put it over the fork portion when using the cutting blade. The manufacturer should consider this idea for future sales, but, more importantly, needs to improve the cutting shaft. Else, I would not recommend this item.

I just used this. It worked good! I cut water in half, went down long way of melon, then cross ways. Forked cubes out. It doesn't get clear down to the rind, but I just use it over the rind, instead of having to cut rest of melon off rind, with a knife.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I saw this on Tik Tok and decided to give it a try. This is a game changer. Works like a charm. You do have to do two layers bc the tool doesn’t cut all the way down to the rind.   I cut up one large watermelon in about 5 minutes.  I saw the other reviews that said the tool broke on the first use. Not sure why but mine worked great.

Cut watermelon easy with this

This works as advertised. Don’t really need two of them so I gave one to a friend, but it really does work exactly how it’s videoed so highly recommend if you want an easier way to cut up your watermelon. I did use it on melons it’s OK on those. It really works well on the watermelon. The other melons not as good.
