Wow, beautiful lines on the tongs!So clean and classy for a buffet table while still being effective tongs for serving too.The U shape gives these just enough spring & resistance to make them utilitarian as well as beautiful.I also love that there are no logos or markings on them to blemish their elegance.The larger one is great for salads and the smaller one (not all that small) is perfect for things like protein servings (shrimp, chicken, ribs).I've not put them in the dishwasher yet, but they hand wash great. I like not having crevices to dry out after washing because I live by the beach with higher humidity and need to make sure each tool is very dry before I put them away. I use these for my green leaf salad tossing and serving which is every day. The smaller one is stiffer than the larger one. My cooking tongs are easier to use but harder to dry so I like the trade off.

Heavy Duty and Attractive

These polished stainless steel tongs feel heavy duty yet look sleek and attractive. They went through my dishwasher without issue, which is a must in my book since I avoid handwashing if I can.There is no hinge on these tongs, so they take more hand strength to close than those with a hinge. I didn't have any issues using them, but I can imagine some will.These will get a lot of use in my household. Without protective rubber on the edges, I won't be using them to cook on non-stick surfaces, but I can use them for serving foods of all kinds.
