Don't be shy, smack it till you uncap it.

Always set the bottle on a stable horizontal surface, align the device directly above it, then smack it.If the beer is warm or shaken you may end up with a foamy fountain.It decaps the bottle about 90% of the time on the first try, and usually only catches the cap about 50% of the time, the rest it bounces around the room at random.Maybe a stronger magnet would reduce the number of times you play "Where did that bottle cap go?".Revision.....Uh oh, one is now dead it just doesn't do it's thing any more, I think a spring is broken.I think I will get a couple more I like toys.

It is broken on the first use. Fail

Ordered in September 2021, first used April 2022. Broke on first use. I’ve been drinking out of cans for the last several months But I decided to buy my beverage in bottles this month because I was really excited to try this product finally. I placed it on the bottle, pressed down and heard a crack noise and now it rattles and is no longer springy. So yeah, definitely not durable. It did however release the lid on the bottle I opened. I’ll just use my old-fashioned bottle opener‘s from now on.

They’re good

Make opening bottles easy and better than the old fashioned way or just using the edge of a counter. Out of curiosity I wondered what would happen with a twist off, I don’t recommend it the cap seems to get stuck inside the opener. Other than that they’re good I gifted one and have one.

Worked for about a year

Worked great, and lasted just over a year. A small piece of plastic broke off somewhere inside, but it didn't seem to inhibit the function. Then yesterday the whole thing decided to fall apart, with springs, random plastic pieces, etc. falling out of the opener part. It wasnt used all the time, but was nice while it lasted.
