These are just what I needed, they keep my fresh milled flour loaves good for a week, could be more but they're gone by then in my house. I love the pattern and they fit great in a box in my pantry, the cool dark seems to help a little to keep the bread better longer.
I am LOVING these bread bags! My husband also loves it, which is really saying something! The bags are nice and sturdy, and they really do keep the bread fresh. I was pleasantly surprised. Just slide the bread in, roll the edges a couple times, and clip it closed. Super easy to use. I think it can fit a nice sized loaf of bread that you baked in a 6qt dutch oven, my loaves are a little smaller.
I absolutely love these beeswax bread bags! The pattern is adorable, they’ve kept my bread noticeably fresher, and I love the peace of mind knowing I’m not exposing my food to toxins from plastic. Such a great, eco-friendly swap that actually works. I’ve had no issues with any loose threads, rips or stains. Simple to use! Put the bread in, fold down the top and buckle it closed!

I just purchased my 4th set of these wonderful beeswax bread bags (a total of 8 bags). We have a local neighborhood cottage (micro) bakery that was started up by a young Ukrainian couple within the past year. They have a passion for bringing back the tradition of old world, naturally fermented bread that tastes amazing! All of their bread is naturally leavened using sourdough starter, & absolutely no yeast. All of the flour they use is 100% organic, unbleached and unenriched.Since this bread contains no preservative, these beeswax bags are perfect to keep the loaves fresh for up to a week at least. The bread is usually eaten before a week is even up! One loaf fits one bag. I am also using these bags to freeze some of the loaves.The bags are easy to turn inside out to clean. I gently wipe them with a mild dish soap & water on a soft cloth. I then wipe them with a different soft cloth dampened only with water. I then hang the bag up to air dry.I have gifted 2 of the bags to friends who also support the local couple's bakery. This past week, when I picked up my bread order, I gave one of the bags to the baking couple to try & also as a way to thank them for keeping this wonderful tradition alive.Another plus with these bags...NO PLASTIC bag waste!
