The bags are very cute. They are big. But not sturdy on their own. I cut out a piece of cardboard for extra strength and that helped. If it gets dirty will have to wipe it down. The lining is not removable.

Well Insulated Bags for Warm and Cold Foods!
This is a great set of insulated bags for groceries or warm cooked foods. Included in the package are two Christmas themed bags, but these are great for all year long. The bags don't have a stiff bottom but they don't appear to have any issue standing up on their own. The packaging is two plastic bags but they didn't need anything more substantial.I decided to test how well these worked with warm foods by ordering dinner and picking it up from a restaurant. When I picked up the food I put it into the bags and zipped them up. First thing I noticed was that the bag kept the smells completely hidden, which was surprising. Then after I got home and opened the bags I was surprised at how warm the bags were and how warm it was inside the bags. These bags really kept the food warm! They also kept the condensation inside the bag, so if you are carrying crunchy food (like fries) you might want to leave a corner unzipped. Overall I was very happy and dinner was warm without needing a reheat.For cold I just loaded the bags with my cold groceries, such as Ice Cream, Milk, and frozen veggies. All came home cold and without any issues. Next time I'll bring the bags into the store and use them to keep items cold right from the shelf.Overall highly recommend these bags and think they are really well made. I'll be using them over Christmas and after.

Good bags for Aldi!
These insulated bags are super cute for Christmas, but they are not very well insulated. The walls are very thin, so they won't keep things cold for very long. They work fine for my trips to the grocery that is about 45 minutes away. I like to keep these in my car in case I take an unexpected trip to Aldi since you have to bring your own bags.
