Seems good
I got these things just as corn on the cob went out of season. I'm not spending $6 on crappy shucked corn wrapped in cellophane, so this review is for their quality without a proper test. The tool itself is sturdy with a good connection between the metal and the handle. The handle grip is a comfortable width and it's easy to grip. The connection point from the shaft to the blade is solid and the blade is fairly sharp right out the gate. I believe you could used this right out of the packaging but sharpening the blade might make removing the kernels easier ( I'll find out next year I guess).
