I love to bake bread. And I have special loaf pans (metal) that I have used for almost 25 years now. And it there is one thing I ABSOLUTELY refuse to do is use those pans for meat loaf.For the past number of years, therefore, I have been "freeforming" my meat loaves; and althogh they are OK, I really wanted to find a meat loaf pan to give me height. So I started looking around recently, and found these.They are terrific. Large enough to make a family meat loaf; and narrow enough to provide the height I wanted. AND they are glass! I love glass for meat loaves. You can see everything; they tend to act as non-stick; and you can store, freeze, and even put it in the microwave or back into the oven. It doesn't get much more versatile than that.I love the lids; which can take the freezer, and keep the food fresh in the fridge; they seal beautifully. I love the end handles on the pans; they allow safe removal from the oven.In fact, there is not a single thing I DON'T love about these pans. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have them, and one has already been put to use, and passed every test easily.If you didn't grow up with Pyrex, you may not know the advantages of glass baking; but trust me, once you try these, you will fall in love with them too.

Love these pans with lids!
I am a person that loves baking but also loves baking and cooking using healthy choices. I prefer glass, stainless, cast iron, etc. When I saw these pans with lids I knew I needed them. Not only are they hefty in weight but I love the lids. I love that they can be used to store leftovers as well as bake. They are such a good size and I’m thrilled with them. They bake beautiful loaves! Would 10/10 recommend ! I’m sure they will be around for many years of home baking!
