Very nice jars
I really like these jars, nice heavy glass has a rubber seal around the lid. Lid is attached so you lose the lid or worry it might fall off the jar and break. FYI if you get liquid on the jar lid when you open the jar it will spill some on the counter. I used these for pickled eggs and beets, my hand easily fits in the jar, however a man’s hand may find this to be a tight fit.

Tight Seal and Works Perfectly!
These are fantastic! The hinged lids seal very tightly, keeping cookies, coffee, and other foods fresh for a long time. The wide mouth makes filling and scooping easy, and the vintage design looks great on my kitchen counter. The scale marks are a nice bonus for measuring. Very happy with these jars—they work exactly as advertised!

Cute, Convenient, but Don’t Go Canning Your Pickles in These
So interestingly enough, mason jars are not only a brand but a style. These "Made in China 2 Pack Half Gallon Mason Jar with Airtight Hinged Lid, Wide Mouth Glass Canisters for Food Storage, Cookie, Coffee, Pickle - 64 Oz Glass Jar with Lid - 2 Scale Marks & Vintage Mason Jars"are definitely not official Mason branded jars, but they are a mason-style jar despite having “Mason” on the side. They are made in China and are quite attractive and easy to access with the wide mouth. That was really my main reason for getting them. I’m hoping to learn how to do canning and pickling before next summer because my garden keeps getting bigger and more fun to harvest from. One thing that’s really important for me is a completely airtight seal for both liquids and dry contents in canning jars. While I personally prefer a gasket jar over traditional two-piece canning jars, I don’t think those are practical for real canning. As noted by another reviewer, this jar is not airtight, so it should not be used for any type of canning where a proper seal is required. For dry storage, though, these are fantastic. It’s easy to pour in flour or sugar, and you can dip a measuring cup right in without hassle. (Which is much better than my old, smaller mason jars I have included in the pictures )There’s a bit of irony here: the latches are a little stiff, which is normal for a gasket-type lid, yet at the same time they still aren’t airtight for liquids. So for storage and looks, these are fabulous. At just under $35, they are a bit pricey, especially when the listing and description does not live up to the actual ability of these jars.My rating sits at four stars, though I’d give three and a half if that were an option. The listing calls them “vintage jars,” which isn’t accurate—they are vintage “style” in appearance, but they’re definitely not vintage. And while the title says “pickle,” these are not for canning, just for refrigerator pickles or general storage. Using them for actual canning could be risky, so don’t try it.All in all, these jars are attractive, convenient, and perfect for dry goods, but if you need airtight sealing for liquids or real canning, look elsewhere.

Nice size, looks good but has defects in glass
I only use them to store wrapped candy at work and the seals do a good job of keeping it fresh longer. But both of these have pretty large air bubbles in the glass.

Attractive, functional dry-storage jars that look great, but priced on the high side
These are very good-looking, well-made glass storage jars that work exactly as intended for dry goods. The square shape is smart and space-efficient, the glass feels thick and durable, and the hinged lids close securely with a satisfying, solid feel. They look great on a countertop or open shelf and definitely elevate the look of a pantry. The extra-wide mouth is one of the best features. You can easily fit a measuring cup or your whole hand inside, which makes filling, scooping, and cleaning much easier than standard tall mason jars. The measurement markings are a nice bonus for quick reference, especially for bulk staples like flour, sugar, oats, coffee, or beans. For dry storage, the seal works well. I’ve had no issues with moisture or staleness, and the silicone gasket feels sturdy and replaceable. The jars clean easily and feel like they’ll hold up to long-term everyday use. That said, these are not true canning or pickling jars, despite how they’re marketed. Though they may work great fro "fridge pickles" I have not used them for anything wet, and I wouldn’t trust them for pressure canning or shelf-stable pickling. They’re best thought of as pantry canisters or refrigerator storage for non-critical uses. Also, they are a bit pricey for what they are, especially compared to standard mason jars, though the design and convenience help justify some of that cost.Overall, these are excellent jars if you want attractive, functional dry-food storage and don’t mind paying a little extra for looks and usability. Just don’t buy them expecting traditional canning performance. For that reason alone, they land at a solid four stars.
