Great larger-sized jiggers!
These are really great jiggers!The larger size makes it a little bit easier and more versatile than my standard jigger, which is 1/2 ounce and 1 ounce on the other end.So now I keep both types together and I basically have a jigger for any size I might possibly need.What’s nice is when I am pouring a shot I can go up to the 1-1/2 ounce line without having to go right to the edge and risk spilling. I often spill when I use jiggers because you have to really pour all the way to the tippy top to get the correct measurement.Since the large end on these jiggers goes to 2 ounces, there’s a little room at the top to prevent spills.My only beef with these, and every other jigger out there, is that it’s really hard in my opinion to see the ounces. I wish someone would come up with a better way to print the measurements for my old tired eyes. But these are engraved standard measurements just like all of my other jiggers, so I guess this is the only way they are made. But on the flip-side, if you use the full measure and pour these all the way to the tippy top, I guess technically you don’t have to be able to read the measurements.I took a picture next to my standard jigger so you can see the size difference.

I do already have a double sided jigger, but there are two things I don’tlike about it. One, the inner measurement lines are almost invisible and two, I do not carefor the mess it makes when I have to turn the jigger around for a different metric. I know, Iknow, there is this whole bar-culture, where juggling of bar ware and splish-splashing ispart of the charm, but I am not a bartender, and - for my home purposes - I just like to beneat and contain messes. This is, where this second set of jiggers comes in. Size istypical, they are made of quality, polished stainless steel, and the inner measurement linesare more visible and more comprehensive in this set, even though I would have liked it, ifthe different measurement lines would have gone around the entire inner circumference ofthe cup, so you can see the metrics from all possible angles. With this set, you canmeasure the following: 1/2 oz, 3/4 oz, 1 oz, 1 1/2 oz, 2 oz.It’s a nice set and serves my purposes perfectly.

This two piece set is a really nice addition to the bar cart. I’ve been putting together for my family room. The pieces were more solid than I expected, which shows that these are good quality. I have them with my Japanese jigger and honestly to look at it, you would think that I bought all three of them together. Perfect jiggers. I already had one but when I have company over for a long weekend, it’s tedious to keep washing the one I have. Therefore, I love that this is a 2-pack. The measurements are accurate (I compared them to my current jigger). I also love that these have a 2 ounce measurement as my other jigger only goes to 1 1/2 ounces so I have to use the 1 ounce measurement twice.The price was also good. I think I paid that much for just one of these a while back.The only recommendation I have to make these better is to somehow make it easier to see the measurements on the inside of it. It was a little tough to read.Overall, I’m very happy with these. It made me the perfect Mai Tai!
