Perfectly Sized For Tabletop Use
I am very impressed by the style and efficiency of this Mini Oil and Vinegar Dispenser Set. The size is perfect for tabletop use.The dispensers are made of thick glass that has a beautiful vintage look to it. With the lid, empty, they weigh 6 1/4 ounces. Each dispenser holds approximately 13 ounces of liquid. The measurements in the add appear to be accurate with the height coming in at just under 6 1/2" and the diameter at 2 1/4". The overall size and wight is very comfortable to hold.Some features of these dispensers that I really like are the "dust cap" which snaps in place over the dispenser top to keep the dispenser securely covered. I also like the size of the flow system that moves the liquid from the bottle to the dispenser tube, Most oil dispensers have a narrow tube that sticks down from the bottom of the lid to move the liquid out of the container. They are usually thinner than a toothpick, prone to clogging from oil build up, and tricky to clean. This lid just has an opening, which is 5/8" wide. This is a clever design and will prevent any clogging.I tested the dispenser with water. As mentioned in the add, it is very easy to operate this dispenser with one hand. At first, the water would not come out of the dispenser, which I have since concluded is due to air in top dispenser tube. A little shake got the flow going just fine.I love the look and size of these dispensers. We eat salads daily and every day I have to take my bulky olive oil and balsamic vinegar dispensers out of the pantry, put them on the table, then put them back in the pantry after use. These dispensers are begging to be displayed. They will be filled and proudly housed on my dining room buffet for daily use.The dispensers are nicely packaged and came with 6 adhesive labels but I honestly can't figure out where the labels would go since there is not a designated spot for them on the glass. Perhaps they could be placed on the rim of the dispenser cap. They are not something I would use.The size, quality, and functionality of these dispensers get an A+. For yourself or as an inexpensive but elegant wedding or hostess gift, this set is a terrific buy.
