It was great but I purchased item too small
Also fits power express ybd60-100 same thing. So fits one Im trying to fix up to gift
I’ve used these replacement sealing rings a couple of times now and they have worked well. On the first use while making massaman curry, it did not seal right away, but once I pushed down on the lid the seal popped up and pressure built normally. On the second use for steaming vegetables, it sealed on its own without any issue, so it may just need a brief break-in period.Compared to the original Instant Pot ring, this one feels slightly less pliable, but it fits properly and does the job once seated correctly. I appreciate that the silicone is clear, food-grade, and BPA-free, and having a two-pack is super convenient for swapping out or keeping a spare. I am keeping one separate just for making yogurt so I love the 2-pack. You can see from my pictures that my previous seal was “well loved.”I received these through the Vine program, but at the current price point I would have purchased them and been very satisfied. They function well, are a good value (currently about $4 for a pair), and make a practical replacement option, even if they are slightly stiffer than the original.
I've had my Instant Pot for 9 years, and before that a different electronic pressure cooker. One of the first things I learned is - you can never have too many sealing rings. It is guaranteed that your ring will fail when you've just started your most wanted dish, and with no chance of finding one locally, or getting one rushed to you. So when I see rings that fit my Instant Pot at a good price, I jump at them!Truth be told - I've never had a ring fail. If something happens, it is because I didn't have it seated properly. And though I am very sensitive to scent, my yogurt or ricotta has never smelled like stew, my cheesecake never smelled like onion soup. I still change them out and don't bother color coding them. It is great if you do, for me, it's not necessary. And I don't leave it up to chance. As soon as I get a new sealing ring (or any new accessory for my IP) I wash by hand, and then put it through a sealing test - the first thing you did when you got your Instant Pot. I make sure everything is seated properly, the seal is firmly in place. Then I add 3 cups of water to the inner liner, put on the top, close and latch it, and pressure cook for 5 minutes. Done.If it doesn't come to pressure, something is wrong with the seal. If it does, then the seal dries in the dish rack, and goes into my accessories bin. (I don't ever store the seal in the lid, I always remove it.)After all this reading, you will be happy to know these two seals passed with flying colors! They fit perfectly, sealed perfectly, from everything I see, I can't tell them apart from OEM rings (also my goal, along with great price). There isn't much more to say about these - they fit, they work, I'd buy them again. And at this price, I'll risk that I have more rings than I'll ever need, better safe than sorry!
--2 Pack Sealing Ring for Instant Pot 6 & 5 Qt - 3rd-Gen Upgraded Instant Pot Sealing Ring, Food-grade Silicone Accessories for InstantPot, Replacement Parts for InstantPot 6 & 5 Qt, BPA-Free, Clear--My original sealing ring sometimes holds yummy food scents for a few uses. I decided it may be a good idea to have a back-up in case I am going to make something sweet when my ring still is heavily savory scented. My original sealing ring is quite a few years old as well and having a back-up on hand may not be a bad idea either. At $4 for the pair it is well worth the purchase for the peace of mind and option to swap out if my sealing ring is still holding a smell that could mess with an entirely different dish's flavor. These sealing rings fit my 6 quart Instant Pot perfectly and work just as well as the original. The color is the same color as my original seal looked when brand new.
This review is for Karuzka 2 Pack Sealing Ring for Instant Pot 6 & 5 Qt - 3rd-Gen Upgraded Instant Pot Sealing Ring, Food-grade Silicone Accessories for Instant Pot, Replacement Parts for Instant Pot 6 & 5 Qt, BPA-Free, Clear -Perfect fit for my Instant Pot Max Duo!I took a chance ordering this set of replacement silicone seals for my Instant Pot via the Amazon Vine program because my model wasn't listed in the compatibility list. I figured they would fit and fortunately the do, and perfectly so.These ring seals are well made and as good as the OEM parts. It's nice to have a spare too as sometimes these rings take on the odor of whatever was last cooked and you don't want it to carry over to the next meal - (one of mine permanently smells like jalapeños from gallons of black beans that have been cooked in it!)I've shown in my photos these rings next to a blue OEM and also installed in the lid of my Instant Pot Max Duo.You cannot beat the price on this 2-pack set ! They are a great value and I would most definitely order again!
There's not a lot to say about this product as it's pretty simple. The important thing is that it fits my 6 Quart Insta Pot with Model Number IP-DUO60 v3, and itworks like the original. Honestly there's no way to tell it's not the original product. It's nice that it comes in a two pack so I have a back up now as well.
