Just as good as the more expensive brands.

Excellent molds to create food bricks for meal prep. I do not notice any increase in freeze time. I've used them for weeks and they have not pierced or broken. The value is good for what you pay.
I just wrote a review on some other ones I purchased and because of my absolute FURY with the other pieces of crap, I wanted to give these a huge thumbs up! They’re what they’re supposed to be. The food popped out in seconds with minimal effort. I’m buying another set.
We’ve started to freeze some of the food items that we prepare for each other. After both of our sons moved on and moved out, we found that our food intake between the two of us had become much smaller. We noticed there were some individuals were posting on their Facebook and even on YouTube freezing mashed potatoes, vegetables, even entrées and other items. If you want to come home after a day at work all you have to do is put the freezer bag that you seal frozen left overs in in a pot of water and you’ll have your dinner on your plate in just a manner of minutes. We use the silicone containers. Some are 2 cup, one cup, half cup, and even smaller. I used to get upset when I opened up can of tomato sauce only to have to put aluminum foil or plastic over the top of it and then forget that I had it in the refrigerator, before it started turning an ugly color of black. Now, with these silicone portion containers, we have an ability to put our left over meals, left over soups and left over tomato sauce or purée in small silicone container. When they freeze, we remove the frozen items, label the freezer bag we then vacuum seal the bags. We have stopped wasting food items. We know what is in the bags, plus we add the date we put everything in the freezer. Once we pop the little frozen pucks of tomato sauce or purée, once they’ve frozen all we have to do is pick one or two of the little pucks out of the resealable vacuum sealer bag and throw it in our sauce. My wife and I are in our senior years. The amount of food we ate when we were in our 30s and 40s has changed. We no longer are throwing away left over food. The question was raised one day. What does your frozen food items smell like? I haven’t paid attention to what they smell like. In my early twenties I was a cook in several restaurants in Las Vegas. I spent nearly twenty years, while I was attending UNLV. I have an extensive background in preparing comfort food. Because these containers are made of silicone they might have a slightsmell of silicone. You’ll find that as time goes by if you actually cook in these silicone containers, they will be more inclined to pick up the smell or possibly leave a taste behind from the other foods that you put through them. It’s kind of like what you get with your Insta pot. The ring that’s in the Insta pot after about the 10th meal you make and it starts to really pick up a unique smell to it. But thank God here on Amazon you’ll find them at a very cheap price that you can replace the rubber sealing ring.We have yet to find any problem with the food that we are eating or experiencing any smell or residual taste from the container that we froze others food items in.We do fill our silicone container with the food we are going to save, after it has cooled. When it’s cooled, we put the lid on the silicone container and place it in the freezer. The following day we push the frozen item out of the silicone mold and put it in a vaccum sealable plastic. The next day we take it out, put it in a vacuum seal bag, possibly with several others of the same type and freeze all of them together. We do leave them frozen inside the silicone container. We freeze them like it was a block of ice. We’ve eaten several meals we’ve pulled out of the freeze, placed in a pot of boiling water. When you get busy and realized we needed to find something to eat. One of us will go start a couple of pots of water. Once the water starts boiling we stick our frozen vaccum bag in the water. In just a matter of minutes we are sitting down eating a hot meal, home cooked meal.It tastes as good as it did the night we prepared it. Cleanup is really fast, two plates and silverware.. I believe you’ll find that this is gonna be a trend that will take cooks out of the kitchen, when they are involved doing things around the house with the kids or working in the yard. Being prepared in advance will provide you with good foods in under thirty minutes.
Good for the price. But can tell they are not the original
Sturdy and easy to clean. Makes freezing leftovers easier because you can pop out the portion you want instead of defrosting the whole thing. Makes weekday lunches a breeze.
The top of the tray is super sturdy! The cups are soft silicone, but the tray will keep its shape. I didn't really know what to expect (I've bought cube trays before that don't actually keep their shape). With the pre-measured sections, these are perfect! My one con might be that the lid isn't water-tight, so it doesn't create a true seal...But I wasn't looking for that with these trays.
These cubes are great for meal prep! The can be thrown in the dishwasher for easy cleaning and they wash up easily in the sink as well. They are alot more reasonable than the official ones and they do have the metal support around the edges. I only picture one because the other one is in the freezer.
