    Worth every Spat!

    No more metal shavings in your food. As the metal older style would get worn out you would find pieces breaking off. I’m interested to see how long these will last. I like that the handles fold up when not in use, and they also have a hook to hang them up if you want to. The silicone on the handle helps with the handle not getting as hot as it would without it. Bonus that you can also use it for a cooling rack and are easy to clean. My video is just to give you an idea of how they look up close.

    I wanted to upgrade to something better than cheap Walmart screen types. This is definitely not the solution. The holes in the screen are a lot bigger than the cheap ones. I have a bigger mess using these than anything else I’ve used. Bought the two pack so someone’s getting the other one for a gift.     Easy To Clean, Effective Way to Keep Stovetop Clean

    This is a great splatter screen! I can use it on top of all of my fry pans, from my 6-inch non-stick skillet to my 12-inch cast-iron. No matter what type of grease you are trying to prevent from splattering, this will do a nice job. I have used the screen-style options in the past, but having this one be silicone makes it so much easier to keep clean. I can wipe it clean with a sponge or even throw it in the dishwasher. When it is time to put it away, it also fits into smaller spaces thanks to the fold-down handle. I was a little worried that being able to fold the handle would compromise its stability, but it holds tightly in place once it is locked in. And the fact that it comes as a 2-pack is perfect! One for home and one for the camper. No more grease splatters for me!

    Better screen than most!

    They are lightweight and easy to clean silicone, which stops all the grease. My metal ones were hard to clean well and looked dingy after a while. In my video, I said these are dishwasher safe, But I don't like to put silicone in my dishwasher. I had some cooking utensils, and the silicone developed a white film over it. I don't want to take the chance. It's much easier to rinse off by hand. Nothing sticks to it. I had two videos, one showing you how to flip the handle back. I am only allowed one video. You pinch inside to open the handle flat. See photos. I saved my video for a new use for this product: When you have to flip an omelet or hash browns in a skillet. Easy! A+

    While this product is a better alternative to metal guards, which are notoriously difficult to clean, I have a couple of minor gripes.In my opinion, these splatter screens work well as grease guards, but it’s a bit of a stretch to claim they function effectively as cooling mats or steamers, especially since the silicone material tends to warp under high heat. A slightly thicker silicone construction might improve its versatility as a multifunctional tool. Additionally, the holes on the guard could be smaller, as some grease still manages to pass through, leaving a fine mist on top during use. That said, it’s far easier to clean than traditional metal guards.Currently priced at $15.99 for a set of two splatter screens, this product offers excellent value, especially considering some listings charge a similar price for just one.Although there are a few minor drawbacks, this product is a solid choice for its price and consistent performance as a grease guard. Just keep in mind that the silicone material is somewhat thin and prone to warping under high heat.
