Beautiful, happy cushion for wine bottle & glasses. Fits on the corner of granite counter nicely. Hopefully, no more broken wine bottles! Packing folded the mat which left horrible creases in rubber that weights would not remove. Only ironing on high with a towel between mat & iron got wrinkles & bends out.
These bar mats are a nice quality. Out of the box, there was some creasing that was relieved with some heat from a blow dryer. These mats are just what I need when mixing drinks to catch those drips and to keep my counters clean. The rubber feels nice and thick and I think the price of $20 is reasonable.
This two-piece bar mat drip catcher set is a nice addition to my bar setup. The flexible mats do a great job of containing beer foam (especially Nitros) keeping it off my counter, which I really appreciate. However, that same flexibility becomes a bit of a drawback when it’s time to clean up—once there’s enough spillage to drain, getting them to the sink without making a mess along the way is tricky. Then there is the awful smell! I’m sure it will go away after a while and a couple dishwasher cycles, but for the moment they are living out in the garage where they can lose the smell and warped nature of the packing.A touch more rigidity in the mats would make handling them easier and a proper “after manufacturing” washing, could turn this into a five-star product. Still, they get the job done well enough!
