Easy!
I’ve wanted one of these for a while, and I’m very disappointed I didn’t get one sooner. This is such a great way to turn rice into little finger-friendly pieces. It works beautifully for both of my kids: my 4½-year-old thinks they’re fun, and my son—who’s just starting solids—can pick them up easily and practice his pincer grasp without everything instantly becoming a mess.It basically turns rice into an accessible, easy-to-hold food instead of a disaster waiting to happen. This has become especially useful now that we no longer have our dog helping with cleanup.It also gives me the fleeting feeling of being the kind of mom who does fancy bento lunches… even though that is absolutely not who I am.Overall: A simple, clever tool that makes rice far more manageable for little hands. I would absolutely buy it again.

perfect little rice balls
These make the cutest perfectly round little rice balls--irresistible to toddlers (add furikake!). This is cheaply made, a bit flimsy, but it does the trick and I put them in the top rack of dishwasher. I appreciated that there were 2 in this package. A good buy for the price.

Fun for sushi night
These rice shakers are pretty easy to use and are a simple design. Fill each cavity up about halfway and shake away. There were no instructions for use or cleaning, but it's pretty self explanatory. It would be nice if the handles weren't hollow since rice gets in there and can be a bit messy. I wash the shakers on the top silverware rack of the dishwasher and they fared just fine. For the price, I would purchase again because they function well and are easy use.

Worked better than I expected!
I love these rice ball makers! I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from these. I was hoping but when they arrived I thought 'how are these going to work?' But I tried them out and wow!My dogs are over the moon for white rice. And when I cooked it, I usually tried to make rice balls in my hands for them. They didn't care that the rice fell apart immediately, but I did. These little shakers make it so much easier. And I don't use sticky rice, I use Jasmine rice.I did notice that if you put too much rice into them, they don't work as well, but filling one half to a bit heaping works perfectly and makes a nice sized rice ball.Now I'm wondering if they'd work for other things like rum balls at the holidays? I will have to try and see how they turn out.Highly recommend these little rice ball shakers.
