I’ve been trying to spear olives with a little pickel fork. This olive spoon is so much better! Always use the right tool, right? It can also be used to get capers and sliced jalapeno peppers out of jars. I like that it is metal and not plastic. It would make a great gift item because it comes it nice packaging with a box.I’m sure you can think of other uses for a slim, long-handled spoon with a drainage hole.

Flimsy. Be aware that the handle of these spoons are very flexible. I was surprised at how easily I could bend the handle. They do look nice and do the job they are supposed to do but am suspicious about the quality of the stainless steel and not sure how long these spoons will last.

The holes in the spoons aren't quite large enough to allow all the juice to drain out. However, it's much more successful to use than a fork is. I just dump the olives in my hand for the extra fluid to drain off.
