Great replacement sipper lids for Stanleys
Note: these are for 40 ounce Stanleys, and will not work for other tumblers.My kids sometimes have a preference for a sipper lid, rather than a straw for their tumblers. These seemed like a good option, and the color options matched tumblers I already owned. Out of curiosity, I did test them on a couple of other tumblers that were not Stanley brand, and they did not fit. I wanted to mention that so you could save yourself some time if you plan to do the same thing.They work well, and the accompanying straws did work with my other Stanley lids (thank goodness, as someone keeps putting them in the dishwasher to melt!). They come with replacement valves and a tool to pop the parts of the lid apart for cleaning, making that process pretty easy. They have a good weight to them, and feel sturdy.In use - so far, so good!

Definitely an upgrade! Easy to clean vs others.
Boxed nicely. Comes with 2-lids, 4 straws, 2 wench tools and 2 replacement gaskets.Pros: This set is super nice quality and I especially like that it comes with the replacement gaskets and wench to remove the sipper straw on top. From the photos you’ll notice this unit’s straw fits directly into a rubber hole and it is a really snug fit. The benefit here versus my current / old version is that no air enters while drinking. This approach versus forcing the straw over a hard ‘nub’ is the straw won’t become stretched out over time allowing little air cracks in the top of the straw inside the cup. My current top (from another vendor) didn’t come with a replacement gasket or wench and so I didn’t know that it was possible to take it apart for a thorough cleaning which is certainly more sanitary. [I’ve had to bleached my old top often to prevent mold and or smells coming from under and around the ball portion of the fold down straw.]I love that I can now effectively clean the top without worrying about the use of bleach.Lastly, it has a snug fit and did not leak when tested on its side annd upside down for 2-3 minutes.Cons: This unit didn’t come with a straw cleaner although I can certainly overlook that given all of the pros. I have a straw cleaner and of course they’re very inexpensive.
