This is simply the answer to messy dish mats that harbor bacteria, mold, & that awful, white, hard water build up that’s impossible to clean. The lack of pooled water just looks and feels clean. Dry countertops are the goal and these deliver. The fact that they come with two- another plus. The design is beautiful and they are not an eye sore to leave out. Worth every penny.

I've been dying to try a stone mat for a while. First I wanted to try the one for your bathroom, but so many reviews said those ended up cracking only after a month or two. That initially made me nervous to buy this stone mat for dishes, but I had to try it. It absolutely dries quick as hell. Within minutes, actually. When it first arrived, it did leave this powdery finish on your hands from touching it. When I was looking at the stone mats for the bathroom, their instructions were usually to wet the stone and let it air dry for like 48 hours, but the instructions for this mat did not relay that same information so I left it alone. I knocked a star off because the silicone that goes on the bottom of them seems to be too small for both of my stone mats. I cannot keep them on to save my life. They live under the sink because I was too annoyed trying to wrap the corners to the mats, so I just use the stone mats by themselves and if I put the mats away under the counter, I will put them in their silicone case (as much as it will fit) just to protect them in case they fall and break. Pretty disappointed I couldn't use those, but nonetheless, the mats are still functional, sturdy, they dry quickly, they are aesthetically pleasing, and it was a great value for your money with getting two for one!
These are so nice! They dry incredibly fast and absorb more water than I expected. You could wash a feasts worth of dishes and it would handle it fine. One is slightly larger than the plastic mat I had been using, so the size is great. The design is simple, clean, and classic all around.The ivory white color is stylish on my countertop. It does get messy easily, but the provided sander and buffer pads bring it back to bright and new.The two pack has a great value. These look fantastic flanking my sink, but I could easily buff one and give it as a beautiful gift!
It dries dishes well but it absorbs every possible color and stains incredibly easy with no way to clean off the stains so it always looks dirty which is not a good look for a place you are putting clean dishes!
I was skeptical about these mats at first, but I'm now pleasantly surprised by their performance. The mats are made of a compressed cardboard-like material, not ceramic stones as I initially expected. They are sturdy, lightweight, and do not warp. The silicone mat underneath prevents them from sliding on the counter.The are a good size - I would say too small for drying shoes - but are perfect on a counter next to the sink. The styling and color will blend nicely into any kitchen.I've been using them for about a month now and haven't had to clean them yet. Their drying ability is impressive—placing a wet glass upside down on the mat dries it completely within an hour or two, unlike traditional methods that can take days.The package includes sandpaper-like scouring pads for cleaning, which I will test and update this review with once I need to use them. No setup is required—simply attach the silicone mat to the stone like a phone case.
