Sturdy fruit basket with good capacity
I got this fruit basket because I was tired of having bags of oranges and apples strewn on the counter. Also I hoped the bananas might last longer if they were hung so this seemed like a perfect solution. It is super easy to put together. You don't need tools at all. You basically just attach the two baskets together using some supports and then the banana hook clips on the side of the top tier and curves over. The wire is sturdy and well made. There are no flaws in the finish. It holds quite a lot. I was able to fit a bag of clementines and most of a bag of apples in both tiers. I have a bunch of bananas hanging there also. I will note that your bananas either have to be sharply curved or rather small because there isn't a huge amount of room for them to hang in once the basket is full. I think this looks really nice on the counter when it is filled. It is definitely nicer than a bunch of random fruit bags laying around. It was easy to wash in the dishwasher before I put it together. Because it went together so easily it probably would come apart quite easily also so that is something to keep in mind when you want to wash it in the future. I think this was a good value for the quality of storage it offers.

Great value, but not perfect
If you're really bad at rotating shapes in your mind's eye like I am, this thing is actually pretty hard to put together. It's not obvious how it's meant to be assembled by any means, and the instructions aren't *that* detailed. Ultimately once I looked at the instructions and messed around with the pieces enough, I was able to get it together, and once it was assembled it seemed obvious, but I definitely spent too much time messing around with it. But, you only have to put it together once, so I don't care much how hard it is as long it's doable. If you're looking for a description for how it's meant to go together: the end of the hooked vertical pieces that's flatter and has the cross-bar right by the hooks goes in the top, smaller basket. The curved side which has the hooks further from the cross-bar hooks into the bottom basket (the one with the feet) from the outside. Then, of course, the banana holder just goes in the top.I just got some fruit to put in it today, and I'm super happy with it. I put a few apples in the bottom basket, some avocados in the top basket, and a banana bunch on the hook. Stocking it up illuminated two things that I don't love about it, but aren't the end of the world:My particular banana bunch had 8 bananas -- definitely pretty big. I think it was about 2.5 pounds. The bananas cause the hook to sag a bit from the weight. Not enough to even touch the avocados in the top basket, so it's far from the end of the world. But it doesn't seem super sturdy. I think if the hook were more rigid I would be much happier with it.Likewise, the vertical pieces shifted around a bit while I was adding the fruit to each basket, and it almost felt like it was all going to fall apart. Being intricately familiar with how it goes together at this point, I know that it can't just fall apart from handling it, it's actually pretty sturdy. But the vertical pieces shifted around and the top basket sat unevenly and such, and it again just didn't feel super sturdy.I think that for ~$14 this is actually a great option. I've been using just a plastic bowl to hold my fruit, and this looks so much better and helps save some space on the counter. Don't expect it to blow you away, but the convenience, aesthetics, and price are all pretty great.

Stylish, Sturdy Fruit Basket with Plenty of Space
This two-tier fruit basket is a practical and attractive way to organize fruits and vegetables. The overall appearance is clean and modern, and it looks nice sitting on a kitchen counter without taking away from the space. The quality of the materials is solid. The metal feels thick and well-coated, and it doesn’t bend or flex under normal use. In terms of durability, it feels sturdy enough to hold heavier items like apples, oranges, and potatoes without wobbling. The size is just right for everyday kitchen use. It holds a good amount of produce while still keeping everything visible and easy to grab. The two-tier design helps maximize vertical space and keeps the counter more organized. For functionality, it works exactly as intended. Items are easy to access, and the open design allows air circulation to help keep produce fresh longer. The baskets stack securely and don’t feel unstable. The ease of use is another plus. Two Tier Fruit Basket With Banana Hanger
This fruit basket has a sleek black metal finish that blends well with most kitchen styles. The banana hook at the top is a standout feature. It's a flat, elongated piece rather than a curved loop, which makes it much easier to hang large bunches securely. The hook holds weight well without bending, and the metal throughout feels sturdy and coated for durability. The bottom tier basket holds about eight small apples (roughly 2" tall), and the top tier fits around seven. That said, bananas hanging above will touch the apples below, so taller fruit might feel cramped.Assembly is quick and tool-free, but the side bracket system is where things get tricky. The baskets are suspended by two curved metal brackets that hook into the bottom of the large basket, then bend upward and hook into the bottom of the small basket. There’s no locking mechanism, just tension and positioning. You have to experiment with which wire to hook onto and use vertical bars as stop points to keep the baskets from tilting. Even then, the top basket tends to lean slightly, giving the whole setup a bit of a lopsided look. It works, but it doesn’t feel secure or well-engineered.The unit stands about 20.5" tall, which is something to consider if you plan to put it under shelves or cabinets. Overall, it’s functional and visually appealing, but the bracket design could use a rethink to something that makes it feel more solid.
