The porcelain plates feel sturdy and well‑made, and the stylish Bohemian patterns add a touch of elegance to any table. We used it for our Thanksgiving dinner, and it looked beautiful and was very functional for holding deserts. It’s equally suited for weddings, parties, or casual gatherings—versatile and eye‑catching.The wooden handle with knob makes it easy to carry once assembled, and the stand feels stable when loaded with desserts. Assembly was straightforward, though no instructions were included. For anyone setting it up, here’s the order that worked for me:Start with the screw, metal washer, and felt washer (felt washer facing the bottom of the large plate).Insert through the hole in the bottom plate, add another felt washer, then screw into the wooden handle with the flat end. Tighten securely.Place a felt washer on the screw attached to the handle, then position the smaller tray face up with the screw through the middle.Add another felt washer once the screw protrudes through the plate, then screw on the wooden knob handle and tighten.Tip: Do not over‑tighten, as porcelain can crack. Make sure that a felt washer touches each side of the plate. The metal washer should only touch the screw head and the bottom felt washer.There is a helpful video on the product page that shows the assembly process toward the end, which I recommend watching. Once assembled, the stand is easy to disassemble and store.Overall, this is a stylish, durable, and practical serving piece that elevates any event. I am well pleased with this tiered stand. I have a growing collection of bohemian-style dinner ware and am more than tickled to expand out to nice quality, unique serving pieces.The porcelain is thick with good weight. The rods are substantial and manage the porcelain beautifully with good balance. The trays have a raised lip so if you need to relocate your stand and it's already merchandised with food the chances of success are increased.I requested the red colorway. It's vibrant and lively, and of course red is known to stimulate the appetite so makes your offerings all the more appealing. The design finish is thick and flawlessly executed with no skips or smears.
