Bought theses for a bridal shower. the serving table was large & using these trays allowed me to space items out in a balanced manner. They are plastic which helped with affordability & catering transporting.The black color will be give me versatility for future events. They cleaned up easily.
I was looking for plates that were the right shape and size for buffet style serving events. These are the perfect width and length for placing between chafing dish setups for serving utensils without taking up too much space. I chose plastic because they are easier to clean, less weight when transporting and can always be used for other small displays of food or items. We haven't had any staining issues at this point.
I used these to hold both appetizers and desserts. They were great. I had some dips in bowls that I placed on the tray on each table at my celebration. I am really glad that I did, because many of the dips were dripped onto the tray, but my table cloths and runners were not ruined at all, because the trays caught all the drips. I suggest measuring your table and bowls and the 14 inches for the tray, prior to ordering. I was able to fit two small bowls of dip on the trays, but the 14 inches was too short to hold a 3rd bowl. They were the perfect size to place raw vegetables at each table, and I used a few to hold desserts later on. I made a tray of brownies and a tray of cookies and trays of melons and grapes for the dessert table. These held up well and were so much better than buying cheap acrylic trays at the dollar stores (the ones that cannot hold much weight and do crack and break). I love these white trays.
We bought these to replace a similar tray. The tray we were replacing was about ⅜" deep and these are considerably deeper. They still work for most of our needs, but a bit more shallow would've been better.

These trays are the perfect size and shape for sharing a Scandinavian Almond Cake - and I don’t need to worry about getting a pan back. Very happy with this item.
haven't used these for humans, but they make great food dishes for my feral cat colony. low edges prevent whisker fatigue and the length allows several cats to get at food. they are plenty sturdy for my needs. i've also used them under planters.
