The quality is very good but not perfect. But I needed a knife block that would hold at least 6 larger knifes, it holds at least 8, and fits better under our shelves much better than our old one.
The knife holder is very fine. The slots are well placed and the wood it is made of is beautiful. A very good purchase

Fits a lot of knifes, looks good in the kitchen
I bought this block to replace one I have had for 30 years and was beginning to disintegrate. It is very sturdy and attractive. It also has more slots including steak knives which my old block did not have. This helped s free up a slot in my drawer which is very helpful. I am still getting used to the horizontal slots vs the vertical slots and my husband still looks in the drawer for the steak knives. Overall this is a good value for the cost!
wat is to say it holds all of our knives
The black color scratches very easily and it's very noticeable. I had the exact same thing last time in an oak color and I never had that problem.
