Contemplated purchasing some silicone pads for my freeze dryer trays; however, instead opted for parchment paper. These things rock! Having paper the exact size of the tray, makes my time prepping the trays an absolute breeze! I don't have to worry about cutting and sizing my roll of parchment paper. Clean up is a breeze and one less thing I have to worry about washing, unlike the silicone pads. Some people have even mentioned that you can use the other side of the paper on your next freeze drying cycle and get double usage out of this pack. I have not done so but I'm sure you can if your food doesn't stick to the paper or make a mess. I freeze dry a lot of candy so I just throw them away afterwards but it is something to keep in mind. I also like the package that the paper is stored in. It's not clear packaging like some others. This one has a nice sturdy cardboard type of package that closes when not in use. I can stand it on it's side in my pantry or lay it down, when storing. It also keeps the paper from curling up at the edges as others have mentioned with their paper that is only held together by a clear, flimsy bag. I highly recommend this product and will be a repeat customer for as long as they are available.

Splurge worthy
I have always cut my Costco rolls of parchment to fit what I need, but I splurged on these pre-cut papers for my new freeze dryer. I bought these particular ones because of the rigid cardboard holder. It is SO nice to pull out a sheet that doesn't try to roll or curl. These just come out of the cardboard sleeve perfectly flat. They are thick enough to reuse several times if you are drying similar items (fruit or veggies). I use them under my more acidic sauces prior to pre-freezing to hopefully somewhat protect my trays.
