Great knife.....multipurpose....incredibly sharp

I'm extremely impressed thus far. I own many of the big-buck Japanese knives which run $150+ apiece, and this knife does just as good a job.What I like: Extremely sharp. I've cut up fish, beef, pork, vegies, etc. and it cuts everything with ease and precision. Perfect length for me. I like knives that are "utility players" - you can do almost anything with them. This knife fits that description - it's a multipurpose knife. Resharpens well. Sure the knife cuts well right away, but can you resharpen it? The answer is YES with this one. Feel. The knife feels great in my hand, with good weight and balance.Overall an outstanding knife for the low price - I'm very happy I bought it.

Really nice, high quality small cleaver

This is my first "nakiri" shaped knife. I've always been intrigued by nakiri knives because they're essentially mini cleavers that make prepping veggies a breeze. I normally use a chef or santoku knife when prepping/cooking, and I thought I would give this nakiri a try. Wow, this thing is super sharp, that 10 degree angle is no joke, it's the sharpest kitchen knife I've every owned, by far. Unfortunately, because of the length of the blade It feels a little unwieldy because of the blocky end. That's my only issue, if only this were available in 6" or even 5", I would have bought those sizes, 7" is too long for a nakiri in my opinion. The fit and finish are excellent, flawless essentially. It's a keeper, razor sharp and it's holding that edge too.
