Amazing Silicone Mold for small portions
There are brownies… and then there are cute mini brownies. This silicone mold is perfect for the latter. I like so many things about it. Each cavity’s base is about the size of a quarter, ideal for measuring small portions, making desserts for kids, or creating cute little treats for parties.To make mini brownies, I poured 1 overflowing tablespoon of batter into each cavity, baked at 350°F for 30 minutes, and they were done; fresh mini brownies right out of the oven. The mold is very flexible, so I placed it on a baking tray; otherwise, some cavities might sag between the oven rack lines.The flexibility is actually a plus; it makes removing brownies easy. They pop out from the bottom in one piece, no spoon or knife needed. It’s also great for storage since it bends easily.One note: the back has several symbols showing what can and can’t be done with the mold. There’s one symbol I’m unfamiliar with and wish I knew the meaning of.
