Very thin, almost translucent

These are not what I was expecting. They’re incredibly thin, almost translucent, and are really hard to get apart. The first time I tried to take one apart it came off as two, and I didn’t think they were bad at twice the thickness. But then I realized I had to peel another one off, and it was way too thin to use for a party.The “rustic” look is kind of nice, until I think about washing them for regular use. I feel like it’s going to fall apart really quickly. Bottom line, if you’re having an elegant party and need napkins, this might not be the right set for you.Also, they do note that measurements in the description may be off, and mine was 16”x16”.I got these because I was getting sick of my kids constantly wasting napkins, and I wanted to reduce the amount of waste. Since my kids don’t care what they look like, I can still use it for that purpose, but I wouldn’t agree with these being advertised for any type of formal gathering.Otherwise, the material does feel like cotton, and they’re fairly absorbent. Not quite as good as paper, but at least they’re not as wasteful.So if you just want some cotton napkins to use around the house, and are willing to pay the price for “fancy” napkins, you may get some use out of these.

Very thin and not really like a cloth napkin.

They are very thin actually like a paper napkin. I did not use them because guests would have to use like 3 of them. Since I washed them I cannot return so they will be used as rags instead of guests napkins.
