The glass is thick, and it looks very expensive, but it is pretty easy for me to lift out of the way when I need to clean the table. It rotates smoothly with no sound. It is very stable and doesn't wobble. Allowing me to add decorations, salt and pepper shakers, and more to our table when we eat. We use it daily!
