Love these mugs!
I love large mugs and since most of my dish ware is red, I wanted red mugs. These are perfect. They arrived today well packaged in styrofoam and in perfect condition. I love the bright shade of red. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers found the mugs very comfortable to hold. Even though there is no assurance on the bottom of mugs that they are microwavable, the details on Amazon say they are okay to microwave. Also the details say the mugs are BPA and lead free. They are ceramic. I highly recommend these mugs if you like an ample, easy to grip mug. I look forward to many cups of hot cocoa and herbal teas! I hope all the photos help folk get a sense of the size of the mug.

Nice enough 24oz mug
Looked for a long time for a mug of the right volume. Unfortunately, every mug's review section is full of "this mug is supposed to hold 26oz but actually holds 22oz," so I ended up measuring the dimensions of a mug I had that I knew was the right size and finding one with similar dimensions--that's this one. This mug holds 24oz (3 cups) comfortably, 30oz if you fill it completely, so the liquid is even with the top, which means if you're less cautious than me, you could probably do 26, or even 28. Came very tightly packaged in a big box with a thick molded styrofoam shell. Shame about the excess packaging, but it also guaranteed that nothing short of the box being crushed was going to hurt the mug, and if you're going to order something fragile online, I guess you have to accept that sort of thing.I'm deducting a star because the mug came with two pinpoint flaws in the glaze where you can see a tiny white spot of the ceramic beneath, one on the handle, one on the inside wall. This shouldn't affect usability, and hasn't so far, and I'm pleased with the mug overall, but at $20 for a single mug, I don't think complete glaze coverage is asking too much. Still, it's a nice mug; the ceramic isn't too thick or too thin, the size is right for me (and is at least close to being correctly labeled), and the red is really rich and lovely.Update July 2025: Bought another, because the first is now my mom's favorite mug. This one is blue, packaging was the same, two pinpoint flaws again (one was on the bottom this time, which is a plus, I guess), color is gorgeous. It is dark enough to show fingerprints very clearly, which I hadn't considered, but still a nice mug. Just wish the quality control on the glazing was a little better for the price.
