I’m quite certain that this 2 piece 11” Stainless Steel Canning Rack with Jar Lifter Tongs Set is more than capable of serving its purpose. Per the photos provided, the rack is more than capable of containing a complete load of Mason Jars. Not so certain about the term “Heavy Duty,” as it’s very lightweight. I guess the question is how heavy duty does it need to be? The Jar Lifter Tongs, on the other hand, had no trouble lifting and holding a completely filled, very heavy Mason Jar. All in all, this Canning Set is a decent value that should serve you nicely.

I purchased this canning rack because I do plan to learn how to can. I know that I needed the rack and the jar holder. I can't even say that I'm new to Canning cause I haven't even started yet however I can't tell you that these items are both made very well. I do like the fact that the handles fold in on itself so that it's easier to store when you're not using it. It is dishwasher safe and it seems as though it's made very well
