Small learning curve on speed required. Seals and opens bags. Very convenient with cordless.
There's a little bit of a learning curve to this product but the ability to reseal bags is so fantastic.This includes 2 of the mini bag sealers plus 2 micro-USB charging cables. The bag sealers have a concealed blade that can be used to open bags. They have a heat seal powered by the battery. And they have a bottle cap opener on the underside. On the one side there's a power switch that turns on the heat seal portion. The other side has a micro-USB charging port for charging the sealer.The basic use, for sealing a bag you turn it on and then put the bag in and push the button furthest forward on the top and then fairly quickly pull the sealer across your bag. I found it's easiest to start a little off the side of the bag and then come back and cross over your existing seal at an angle to get the last bit sealed. If you go too slowly you'll melt through the bag so you need to do a little trial and error to get the right speed for the bag that you are sealing.The opener works similarly. It works in one direction only. Like the heat sealer, I found it easiest to start a little off the edge of the bag. Push and hold down the button closer towards you and then pull it across the bag. The concealed blade will cut through the bag and open.The bottle opener works like other bottle openers. It's a nice little bonus to have.Overall it's a neat tool for resealing bags. You can eat part of a bag of chips and then seal it and have it stay fresh longer.
