Practical set of bottle openers
These are nice functional double-sided bottle openers that work well. One side is best for loosening large screw-tops while the other pops off metal soda and beer bottle tops with ease. The black plastic grip makes them easy to hold firmly, and I appreciate that they can be place in the dishwasher for cleaning. The set is very affordable at under 5 dollars for two, and I can keep one in my kitchen drawer and the other in my travel bag for use on the road.

Sturdy, looks good, but I could not pierce the can with the "punch end" of the opener
I really like the looks of these Jinlifa dual bottle and can openers, which come in a pack of two. They are sturdy and constructed well. The classic "bottle opener" end of the device works as expected and pops tops off well. However, the design of the "punch end" of the device was an unexpected problem. I could not punch the tops of cans with the "punch end" of the opener. I tried several types of cans and I could not get the can opener to make a punch on any of the cans. So I wondered if perhaps the current types of cans which have a thinner rim might be the reason for the inability of the "punch end" to pierce cans, but I tried an old can opener that I had and it could still pierce the cans. I realized that the "arch" of the "punch end" of the Jinlifa can opener is so high that I could not get the leverage that I needed to make the pointed end pierce the top of the can. This was an unexpected result, but in my pictures you can see the scratches on the top of the can where I made multiple attempts to punch/pierce the can. The tiny metal "brace" against the can's side comes loose before the pointed end can pierce the can. It was disappointing to me because I otherwise thought the openers were well-made, but only one side of the opener worked for me.
