Sturdy, comfortable grip

These descalers are made of sturdy stainless steel. They hold their shape well. The grip is pretty comfortable. Able to hold it well, make using it much easier and faster. I buy my fish from Asian market, where they do clean them and descale already, but they always miss spot around the head and belly, so I'm glad to have this at home to finish the job better. Work well. Great design.

I really didn't know what to think of it at first but we really like it. They are both really heavy and seem heavy duty. We have no hesitation that these scalers will last a long long while. In our house, we have medium, large, and x-large hands; these scalers fit great in our hands. Considering I use my dominant hand all day long every day, it is great that these tools are ergonomically friendly. It worked just as advertised. We definitely won't be going back to our old ways of scaling anymore lol. Cleaning them was a breeze too! I also like how we have the option of handing this tool by the end of it.

This is a really nice fish scaler! I love it! It's very easy to grip and comfortable to hold onto. It's also very sturdy and effective. This was my first time scaling and cleaning fish. I was very intimidated by the whole process but especially concerned about getting all the scales off. Using this scaler, I was able to get all the scales off quickly and almost effortlessly. I love that there are two, and that they stack nicely into each other for convenient storing. They are very easy to clean. I highly recommend this fish scaler.FYI: A friend of mine told me that if you scale the fish in water, the scales will not fly everywhere. It works like a charm! I filled one side of my sink with water and scaled the fish while holding it underwater. The scales remained confined in the sink.
