Make your own crackers at home
I was happy with this cutter and felt it was accurately represented. We like making homemade crackers out of sourdough discard, and while the homemade flavor is great, sometimes it's nice to have something that feels a bit familiar, you know? With these, you can make your own knockoff goldfish crackers without having to sit there cutting each cracker individually. The fish are in a 5x5 nested grid, and it's straightforward to tesselate the cuts further by nestling up against your previous cut.This is a fairly complex metal shape with lots of nooks and crannies, so including a little wire brush for cleaning was thoughtful.You also get a little flower-shaped cutter that cuts a kind of almond pattern as a bonus. I didn't enjoy using that one as much because it's round and doesn't make the most of your dough, requiring you to roll things out more often, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have it included - the price would have been quite fair just for the goldfish cutter on its own.
