Nice sized but very lightweight scoops and as shown will work well with my tabletop ice machine. I also will use one for smaller "nugget" dry dog food. they are bright and shiny and look to be the perfect size for these type of uses. What I don't think they will be as useful for is scooping heavier items (e.g., some large form dry dog foods, breaking up big chunks of ice, etc. The scoops themselves are definitely lighter weight stainless (and may bend if subject to the latter more challenging uses). But the size of these scoops make them far better suited to the more typical uses so that should not be a concern. I do wish the handles had a hole in them to allow for hanging. Still, very useful and they look very nice.
These stainless steel ice scoops are lighter and thinner than what I was expecting. Yes, if the ice is loose, it will still scoop ice as intended. If the ice cubes have started to clump together, these scoops might possibly be to thin to break through the clumps. I also wish the handles were just a bit longer. When I grip the handle of the scoop, the end of it is inside the palm of my hand and is not comfortable. I think the scoops will be fine for things like flour, sugar, grains, etc.
