What a cute coring device. My first thought was silly gadget, but I was impressed with its purpose. I used it on strawberries and tomatoes, it does a good job of removing the entire core. I was tentative at first but when I put in a little more effort, it went deep enough, then twisting to remove the full core with one try. Slightly bulky, one more thing in the kitchen gadget drawer. But If you need to core numerous fruits then this is the way to go for sure. Much better than using a knife or fingers. Not sure of the quality to tell how long it will last, only time will tell.

Works! Time Saver!

This doesn't come with any directions, so it was a little trial and error, but works great once you figure out how to use it! You push down on the plunger with your thumb to open the blades, then push the blades about half way into a strawberry, then release the plunger so that it closes and grasps the strawberry core, then twist the tool slightly and extract the plunger with the core inside. Works great and a time saver compared to cutting out the core with a knife. This also seems safer than cutting out with a knife. Nice that 2 are included so you can have another person help you if you have a lot of strawberries to core.
