I bought one for myself and a frying pan for my daughter in law.We love it!This one I bought it for her for her birthday. She loves this one too!
Great pan. Seasoned per instructions. Heavy, and so darn good looking I hated to use it! But I did and this thing heats faster on our induction cooktop than the Hexclad pan it replaced! Nothing sticks to it. NOTHING! We liked this little pan so much, that we bought the entire line of Cooksy hexagon hybrid pots and pans. We especially like that the hexagon pattern is only on the inside of the pans, and not on the bottoms too like the Hexclad pans. I think this is what accounts for the BIG improvement in heating! The outsides of the pan sides and bottoms looks like MIRRORS, seriously! They're pots and pans but they're BEAUTIFUL!!! We'll never put these in the dishwasher, even though they say you can. And, we'll never use metal utensils in them! Why would we ever want to mess them up? Did I mention this cookware is GORGEOUS! We LOVE THIS COOKWARE!
So far I've used it a few times to make stew and I love it! Food doesn't get stuck on it, or burned. It's working well at medium heat, which is what I like.
I've wanted one for awhile and finally tried it. Works great no sticking. I heated up a bag of frozen chili and worked great no burning on the bottom.
This 3-quart pot is excellent and beautiful. I was replacing a Taste of Home saucepan. I hadn't had it long and the surface was coming off. I was a bit worried about getting another non-stick pot, but I took a chance and it worked out. I boiled some potatoes and it did a great job. The boiling was even all the way around the pot. It cleaned up easily. Most impressively, the finish looked exactly the same after cooking as it did when I opened the package. It has a lot of weight to it. This is a substantial pot. I believe it is worth the money. The only bad thing is the lid. I had washed it, dried it by hand. The next day, I looked at the lid and saw water trapped under the glass. You can see it by looking at the inside, move it around in a circle and you can see a lot of water in there moving. If you shake it, it doesn't come out. I think the water collects from the steam hole and goes under the stainless lip on the outside of the lid. Then, because there is space and a rubber seal on the inside, it gets trapped. There is no way to take the lid apart and remove the water because the glass and steel and rubber were all pressed together at the factory. So, it's a worthless lid, in my opinion. Cooksy should definitely redesign it. I will have to throw it away. Luckily, I still had the Taste of Home lid and it fits and works well. The pictures are taken after I had cooked in it one time. There is no damage. If it looks like it, it is just the lighting from the camera flash.
Liked the reviewTired of replacing one pan at a time every 5 years. These are lifetime warranty and non scratch you can use metal untensels on them. Like the way they look and not to heavy to lift.
He insists on using metal utensils on expense non stick pans. Never mind rinsing hot pan under cold water and warping them. Perfect size for making his home fries special!
