Just received my paring knife in blue. It's beautiful and very very sharp. The knife has a weight and felt like a solid tool. Hope it really is. Only time will tell. For now, it's beautiful and I like it.
I bought one of these on sale. I didn't expect much. The brand is great, they use good steel and they are very sharp. They are on the heavy side, which I like. Some may find them fatiguing if cutting alot. I ended up buying several more.
This is by far my favorite knife. Perfect for paring, trimming meat and much more. I use it daily. Feels really good in my hand, has the right amount of heft, weight and balance.
Arrived fast and literally razor sharp. We've been using it heavily for a few days now and it's holding an edge despite a few rough encounters already. I expected the damascus pattern to be higher contrast but it's kind of subtle. You can definitely see it but it doesn't stand out. Finish is mirror polished, high gloss. Glad I got it, no regrets. Oh, the plastic "sheath" or blade guard-- I didn't even try to us it, looks worthless. There were 2 tip guards floating around in the box and the plastic sheath not installed but the knife was snug in it's packaging anyway so no problems.
I love it. It does have a weight to it so you know you have knife in your hand. It is very sharp be careful around kids and pets.
