wow, this thing is AWESOME! I ordered this so my husband can easily cut up eggs for his salad, etc. I also had a friend show me how genius and easy it is to cut eggs for egg salad, etc. I am really impressed with how heavy this thing is. The materials are really thick and nice, and it still maintains a nice low profile so it can be easily tossed into a drawer and tucked away. The wires are nice and sharp, and the plastic piece easily cradles the egg so it doesn't roll all over. All in all great egg slicer. Simple, but high quality product!

Love the Stainless Steel look.
This is a very sturdy piece. I like how you can slice eggs or even strawberries! I usually make a mess when I try to cut my hard boiled eggs, but this truly made it easy. Now even only I could consistently get the shells off with no problems. It is very easy to clean and maintain. No complaints!

This slices eggs just fine. I wasn't looking for an egg slicer that I can hand down to my great, great grandchildren. I have one of those. It's fine with me when I go if those left behind sell this one at a yard sale.Great at slicing eggs although the egg can't be rotated easily to slice the other way, but it can be done. I just did it making a six egg egg salad.I agree with the person who said it would be nice if it came with a cleaning brush. It can take awhile to get egg out of nooks and crannies.I can't see using it for vegetables and fruit. I think it would be faster to cut those things with a knife.

Much easier than forks
I like the feature of 2-way slicing. It is hard to clean and I’m afraid it might rust like my old one. But it’s better than cutting with forks and knives.
